This issue was raised at the «New Export Logistics Routes» meeting held in the Regional Administration.
In case of implementation, the project will be an important step towards the formation of the Southern Export and Import Hub and will unite the flows of air, road and rail transport at one point. The new route will allow delivering goods to China in just two weeks, the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar Region informs.
The foreign trade turnover of the Krasnodar Region with China increased by the end of 2017 and amounted to 128% against the level of the previous year. In 2017, the share of exports to China increased by 7%. Basically it is oil, wood and charcoal. The opening of the high-speed route will allow diversifying the export structure in the direction of increasing agricultural production.
