Tehran is hosting the 30th Iran Agrofood 2023 exhibition. 13 Kuban companies display their products at the exhibit booth.
The region’s stand hosts companies producing cereals, legumes and oilseeds, as well as foodstuffs such as confectionery, groceries and canned vegetables. Bakery and laboratory equipment, corrugated cardboard products are also on display.
It is planned that Vice Governor Alexander Ruppel will take part in the exhibition. As part of the business program, he will hold talks with representatives of official and Iranian business circles interested in cooperation with the Krasnodar Territory. Cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, trade, transport sector and prospects for deepening interregional cooperation with the provinces of the republic is expected to be discussed.
This year, more than 600 exhibitors from 16 countries take part in the Iran Agrofood exhibition. They will showcase adapted technologies and solutions for markets in Iran and neighboring countries in agriculture, hospitality, food ingredients, food and beverage processing and packaging.
Iran is one of the ten largest export partners of the Krasnodar Territory. Major export items from Kuban to Iran include cereals, oil seeds and fruits, mineral fuel, wood.
