The representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Welfare of Farmers of the Government of the Republic of India headed by the first Deputy Minister S.K. Pattanayak visited Kuban.
The visit purpose was to learn the potential of the regional agricultural complex and establish cooperation. The Indian colleagues were accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture of Kuban, Fyodor Dereka.
According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, the delegation visited the leading agricultural enterprises of the Ust-Labinsk and Abinsk Districts as part of the program where they learned the region’s experience in the development of cattle-breeding, seed-growing and processing industry.
Following the meeting, Fyodor Dereka noted that the Krasnodar Region and India have a good potential for development of cooperation in the agricultural complex.
– We are ready to share the experience with our foreign colleagues – both in production terms and in terms of establishing export supplies. Today, we confidently have yield of agricultural products that allow us to enter new markets, – the minister stressed.
